March's Lifestyle Favorite.

Hey guys,

I can't believe March is about to end, it's amazing how fast the months are going by.

A lot has happened this month, good stuff happened, I could never be happier, and among the things I enjoyed are this month's lifestyle favorite.

Fashion:

Slim-fit Lizzy Mango dark jeans. Why? They're the most comfortable pair of Jeans I've wore in a long time, they're the perfect color that goes with everything, and they're slim fit, so they elongate your legs like nothing else. They're just perfect, but an old model and they discontinued the production of it.

Black Converse. Again it goes with everything and very comfortable. There is no reason why it shouldn't make it to the list.

Tory Burch crossbody bag. It's compact, affordable, cute and it does what is asked of it. Black and petite, and easy to grab and go. It fits my cellphone, money, cards, tissue paper and my lip balm, everything I need.

Makeup:

Inglot Hd foundation. I think I should do a complete review on this foundation, it's my holly grail of
foundations. It never looks cakey and goes on very smoothly.

Inglot concealer. Same as  the foundation, I swear by it. It's high coverage and thick, but once you set it with powder you forget you're wearing makeup. Amazing.

Candles:

SINNLIG for Ikea. I've been burning it constantly this past month, it smells incredible and fills the whole house with the amazing scent of Apples, It screams spring, plus the color the amazing.

Food:

Spinach. Anything spinach, raw, cooked, shredded, or whole. My favorite recipes are the Mini Spanakopita Triangles Recipe, these are amazing Greek spinach pies, and fresh spinach salads.

Snacks:

Twinfish OAT choco bars. These are amazing, I've been a fan of oat since I was a baby, but these oat bars are nothing like anything I've tasted before. Plus they're Vegan.

Apps:

Cooking Fever. Addictive, time consuming , and super fun. Try it. It's FREE on android.

Movies:

Backtrack. A horror movie - which I'm a fan of - Tells the story of a psychiatrist who has lost his daughter in a car accident, and has been hunted by her memory for the past year, until one day a weird girl comes into his office and reminds him of his deceased daughter, who will change his life for ever.

 Music:

This past month I've been listening to a playlist of songs on my Youtube channel, and they're are all pop songs that are romantic and touching, some are in English and some are in French but as equally as romantic and beautiful.

So, I hope you enjoyed this month's lifestyle favorite.

Please don't forget to share this post with your friends.

Drugstore Makeup Dupes

Hey guys,

We can all appreciate a good bargain, especially when we’re getting something cheap that probably should be expensive. This is why beauty dupes are SO popular. Why spend $35 on one piece of makeup if you could spend $5 on something that works just as well AND looks exactly the same? Who wouldn’t want to do that? Makeup is so expensive, and since it’s something you need to buy fairly regularly, it’s good to save when you can.

But still, makeup dupes can be really great sometimes. We don’t always have the money to splurge on our favorite products, so why not get cheaper ones that work almost as well? Here are 6 amazing makeup beauty dupes that will make you want to get to the drugstore ASAP.

- Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on eye pencil Vs. Rimmel Scandal eye water proof Kohl eyeliner

$20  Vs.  $4.99

I don't know why anyone could buy an eyeliner and pay $20 for it, when you can get the same effect for much less.

- Benefit Hoola Bronzer Vs. NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Powder in Sunny.

$28  Vs.  $2.99

Having a nice, matte, non-orange in a little hard to find in the drugstore. Hoola is great for bronzing and light contouring, and this NYC bronzer is so darn similar. The only thing, this specific bronzer is hard to find, so keep an eye out for it.

- MAC Satin Taupe eye shadow Vs. Wet 'N Wild single eye shadow in "Nutty".

$16  Vs.  $0.99

Satin Taupe from MAC is one of those universally shadows that are flattering on everyone, but the Wet 'N Wild is actually the same, my only complain about the packaging being cheap, and the shadow breaks easily because of it, but it's only $0.99 so I will forgive them for it.

- Beauty Blender Vs. Real Technique Miracle complexion sponge.

$20.00  Vs.  $5.99

Okay, I will say that this is not an exact dupe by any means. But I'm mentioning this for a cheaper alternative for the beauty blender.

- Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Vs. NYX Micro Brow Pencil.

$21  Vs.  $9.99

The NYX Pencil is the closest I've found to the Anastasia Beverly Brow Wiz.

- Smashbox Photo finish foundation Primer Vs. Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore eraser Primer.

$ 36  Vs.  $5.99

This is another example where I wonder why would you spend  $36 on a primer. I honestly can't find a difference between the two.

Which of these dupes have you tried before? Do you think any of them don’t work? What’s your favorite makeup brand? Tell me in the comments!

What's in my everyday makeup bag?!

Hey girls,

It's been a while since I posted something here, but I promise it will change, and regular posts will be up.

Today I would like to talk about my everyday go to makeup. My routine has changed over the years massively, and most of the products I use now are completely different from what I used in the past, and this is my current routine and what works for me.

I start with a fresh washed face, I use the Dettol Fresh soap bar, it's gentle on the skin and keeps you feeling fresh and hygienic, then I put on my moisturizer the Nivea Soft, my favorite since I was a little girl when my mom used to smear it all over me.

My favorite foundation has changed a million times since I was in collage, but now my top three favorites are the Covergirl outlast stay fabulous foundation, the second favorite is the visible lift smooth absolute, but my no.1 favorite foundation of all times is my Inglot Hd perfect coverup foundation in the shade 81.

I use it almost everyday, its thick consistency make it easy to apply with a damped beauty blinder or a cheap sponge from the craft store. I usually wear a coat or two depending on the occasion and it's a good coverage foundation, I absolutely love it.

I don't have bad dark under eye circles but I use brightening concealer anyways, my favorites are the L'Oreal Magic Lumi concealer, Maybelline Instant Age Rewind and my favorite Inglot cream concealer in the shade 64.

It's amazing coverage and brightening effect works wonders on tired eyes, with it a little goes along way.

To set my face I use either L'Oreal Visible Lift Powder or my absolute favorite MAC Studio fix powder in the shade NC30.

Then I use a bronzer to put color back on my face after looking like a ghost, so I apply Ludanmei bronzer in the shade 17 in the usual places.

My cheeks need a little pampering with Revlon Blusher in the shade 003 Mauvelous, and ELF highlighter in the shade Moonlight Pearls.

That's conclude my face routine. I start with my eyebrows now, the brow routine needs an individual post because of how important it is for me. I use Makeup Forever Aqua brow in the shade 005 as a waterproof gel and I set it with the brown shadows depending on my hair color from my Flormar eye shadow quartet pallet in the shade 103 brown, but I used my NYX eyebrow pencil when I'm on the go.

For the eye shadow I go for a natural colors with golds and browns, I like my Revlon cream shadow in the shade 06 Moonlight Jewels for it's compact size and amazing colors.

For mascara I go for my all time favorite the Maybelline Rocket volume express, it gives the perfect length and thickness to the lashes, I swear by it.

But when I need a little something more I grab my L'Oreal Voluminous false lashes mascara, since it's waterproof and it give my lashes just the most amazing feel and look.

I do have a couple of liquid eyeliner bottles in my makeup bag the Flormar dip liner in black and the Saffron girl dip liner in black, for that perfect cat eye look.

But sometimes I feel like pencil eyeliner just to darken my waterline and make my eyes look darker and bigger, so I do use my favorite, yes you guessed it Flormar pencil liner, Flormar is my favorite drug store brand with the best quality for the best price.

for lipstick I go for  my Revlon Lipstick in apricot fantasy combined with my favorite Bourjois 3D effect max lip gloss in rose fizz.

For brushes I have five brushes, one for face powder, one for bronzer, one for blusher, one for eyebrows and one for eyeshadow, plus I don't live with my drug store sponges.

That concludes my makeup bag collection, I guess I'll call it that my makeup bag collection.
This is my everyday items for my everyday look, easy, simple and cheap, will kind of!!

What are the three items that you can't live without?! Please tell me in the comments below.

And I will talk to you soon.

Love XOXO
Aseel.
